No. There is no need to sign up for an account for the one-time donation option or a single payment on your credit or debit card. Once you enter your amount in the box provided and click "Give Now" you will be transferred to PayPal. Click on "Don't have a PayPal account" button, then simply enter your credit/debit card information and follow the instructions. It is that easy! If you enjoy the convenience of the on-line system and wish to set up a recurring payment or make a contribution directly from your bank account, those do require a PayPal account.
