The enemies of Jesus close in and his followers struggle to keep up. Leaving Jesus to carry an ever
increasing burden. Threatened by the reality of Jesus’ growing influence, the religious leaders do the
unthinkable. In the final year of his ministry, Jesus bears the weight of his message, seemingly alone.
This season sees the followers of Jesus struggling to understand their purpose, why things happen as
they do, and where it is all headed. By the end of Season 4, the die is cast.

This drama about the life of Jesus Christ introduces Jesus and the calling of his disciples. It is the first
multi-season series about the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. Primarily set in Judaea and
Galilee in the 1st century, the series centers on Jesus and the different people who met and followed
or otherwise interacted with him.
